Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude Tubia (Canadian actress) is known for playing in Freeform's fantasy series Shadowhunters and Venevision telenovelas Cosita linda e Voltea to be enamored. Additionally, she dances and also models. A Montreal born native, she grew in Texas and has always been attracted to dance and performing. In her early years, she began training in different forms of dancing. When she was 15 she was taking part in beauty contests. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia was a hit when she participated in Nuestra Belleza Latina, the Univision pageant series. In 2010, she was the receptionist in Telemundo television show Aurora. In 2015 she starred in her debut movie, the action-drama Tattooed Love. Toubia is nominated twice for Teen Choice Awards as the Best TV Actress Fantasy/Sci-Fi for her role in Shadowhunters.
