Born on November 25 1968 Jillian Noel Hennessy is a active Canadian actor and a singer who is renowned for her notable contributions to American television. Her name has been a household name for her performances in the roles of Claire Kincaid in Law & Order as well as Crossing Jordan. She also put her acting abilities displayed in the movies RoboCop 3 Most Wanted as and Chutney Popcorn & The Acting Class. Through these independently produced films, she flexed both her co-directing and writing muscles. Hennessy started her acting career in 1988, alongside her sister as twin call girls in the film Dead Ringers. In the year 1990, she made an appearance on Broadway on Broadway as Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story. She then moved into sci-fi and played the role of Dr. Marie Lazarus (RoboCop 3) in 1993. The following year she made her most famous break when she joined the NBC's sensational show Law & Order to play District Attorney Assistant Claire Kincaid. Her performance captivated viewers in the part for three seasons, until her departure in 1996. Parker was a part of a variety of series and films, among them RED Fried Green Tomatoes Boys of the Side West Wing Angels and Angels in America. In these roles, she was awarded an Emmy Award in 2006 and a Golden Globe Award in 2006 and Emmy Award in 2007. Parker was also honored with an Tony Award in 2001 for Best Actress, for her role as Proof on Broadway.
