Winona-Ryder
Winona Laura Horowitz, professionally referred to in the media as Winona Ryder was born in Winona Minnesota. Her parents named their daughter the city she grew up in after her birthplace. The father of her Michel Horowitz and her mother Cynthia Palmer were authors and editors. Ryder is a Jew. Ryder believes that her father came from a Jewish family. Ryder is the younger sister of Uria as well as two half siblings Jubal and Sunyata. Ryder's parents moved her and their children into Mendocino County California when Ryder reached seven. They resided in an area without electric power. Ryder who was an avid reader at the age of 12 years old, became a reader because Ryder had no access to television. Ryder started taking classes in acting in the American Conservatory Theatre in 1983 aged 12. Lucas, a 1986 film which was her first big role. Ryder was 15 when she got it. Ryder was bullied in her high school. Ryder believed that if she became an actor, her behavior could be reduced. However, it didn't come to pass. However, she continued to pursue her dreams. Her big break was in 1988 when she appeared in Tim Burton's Beetlejuice. Ryder continued playing parts that proved successful in various films. In 1993 Ryder was twice nominated for Academy Awards. One of the nominations was for her part In The Age of Innocence.
